Messe Dortmund is breaking new ground with an innovative event concept for BUILDINX –INNOVATION FOR LOGISTICS PROPERTIES. Messe Dortmund and BVL, the German Federal Logistics Association, will be holding the very first BUILDINX from 19 to 21 November 2024 as the first buyer-meets-seller forum covering the entire value chain in the world of innovative logistics and industrial real estate, enabling key industry players to encounter innovative start-ups and help shape the future of the industry.

Dortmund, 11 September 2023 – The three-day event in November 2024 will bring together all solution component providers and stakeholders in industry, trade, logistics and investment for the first time. Much more than that, the buyer-meets-seller forum will offer exhibitors and visitors an entirely new collaborative opportunity to think further about current industry matters, to connect and engage, and to work together to develop new ways of doing things.

The 'Globe Theatre' of the logistics and industrial real estate sector

Networking and the communicative aspect are reflected in the room layout at the conference: The heart of the buyer-meets-seller forum is the 'Messe Area' stage and auditorium. The stage will be constantly within view of everyone at the event, keeping the talks and discussion content fully accessible throughout. On the stage itself, experts and practitioners in their fields will speak together using best-practice examples. As a result, exhibitors who position themselves around the stage will also ensure they remain very close to what's happening on stage.

The programme structure on the three days of the event is geared to the life cycle of a property: Day 1 will be all about matters of interest concerning 'Urban & Regional Development and Funding Opportunities'. Day 2 will focus on aspects of 'ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance)' and 'Innovations', and Day 3 will wrap things up with the topic of 'Investments'.
