The very first BUILDINX – INNOVATIONS FOR LOGISTICS PROPERTIES buyer-meets-seller trade show will be held at Messe Dortmund between 19 and 21 November 2024. The new show focuses comprehensively on the entire value chain associated with logistics and industrial real estate, presenting a 360-degree proposition for industry, trade, logistics and investment. By issuing a 'call for papers', Messe Dortmund is now taking the next step in its innovative event concept. Between now and 29 April 2024, people and organisations have the opportunity to submit high-content, practice-oriented subject matter in the categories Municipalities & Political Issues, Subsidies, ESG & Innovation, and Investment. The topics chosen will be included in the BUILDINX programme line-up. Meanwhile, the list of exhibitors continues to grow.

Dortmund, 20 November 2023 – Not just exhibiting, but actively helping shape the show and its supporting programme – this is the concept which BUILDINX, the buyer-meets-seller forum for the world of production and logistics, will be using each year from 2024. “We're already applying our skills to unite several internationally significant logistics trade show models under the Messe Dortmund umbrella. Working with the German Federal Logistics Association, we're delighted to be establishing BUILDINX now as the central trade show for dialogue between industrial operators, traders, logistics businesses and investors,” said Sabine Loos, Managing Director of Messe Dortmund.

The focus of the event, which is set to launch at Messe Dortmund in just under a year's time between 19 and 21 November 2024, is therefore clearly on dialogue and interaction between participants. With this in mind, the call for papers has now got underway, and the organisers are looking for exciting, practice-oriented topics addressing subject matter in the topic groups Municipalities & Political Issues, Subsidies, ESG & Innovation, and Investment. All submissions must be specialist in nature and clearly practice-led, with technically neutral content, free of advertising and manufacturer-independent. The submissions will be incorporated into the show's supporting programme in the form of dialogue events. Unlike many other events, BUILDINX will not be separating the stage and exhibition areas. Instead, the stage and auditorium will form the heart of the event in such a way that everyone – participants and exhibitors alike – will have access to the presentations and discussion content all the time, while leaving enough space for dialogue at the stands themselves.
