Interview with BUILDINX project manager Tobias Schmitz

With a completely new trade fair format, a lot of questions arise - above all, of course, it is about the focus of the trade fair in terms of content, the thematic portfolio and the added value that is offered to both exhibitors and visitors. 


Project manager Tobias Schmitz, who has accompanied BUILDINX "from the cradle" so to speak, therefore answers the most important questions in a short interview today:


Mr Schmitz, what do you say: why is a trade fair like BUILDINX needed, what is special about the new trade fair format?


The BUILDINX is the real estate fair for logistics and industry. That in itself is something special - there are a large number of intralogistics trade fairs, but for the first time we are focusing on real estate. Our goal is to break up the fragmentation of the market with BUILDINX and to bring all relevant target groups together in one place.


What are the advantages for exhibitors? Provocatively asked: Why should you include “another trade fair” in your annual planning?


At BUILDINX, exhibitors can be sure that they are reaching the right contacts in the target industry. The cooperation between all those involved in a project as large as a logistics property can be significantly improved. Our goal is to offer a "one-stop-shop" experience: BUILDINX is the place for all technical topics that accompany the construction, equipment, marketing and use of a logistics property. This ranges from sustainability issues such as solar power supply and the network equipment in the hall to investment issues. In this way, BUILDINX closes the gaps that arise at other trade fairs because they do not convey an overall technical picture.


What exactly can visitors expect, what can they look forward to when they visit the trade fair?


Innovation is the focus at BUILDINX. We are the central contact point for technical topics and offer thematically tailored content. A visit is worthwhile just because of the innovative products and the high-quality lecture program, the requirements are met in the core. At the same time, visitors can look forward to a trade fair in a pleasant environment - networking and content are linked in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and are given the space they need.
